The local tools retain selected project evidence, imported writing and review decisions on your computer. Importing a portfolio creates private material for review; it does not publish it.

Your source folders and your Foliage record are separate. Keep a backup of the record as well as the work it refers to.

A public view is a deliberate choice.

Review the exact document before publishing through Canopy. Private source material does not become public simply because it supports a claim. Employer and client material still requires the appropriate permission.

Withdrawal stops future reads through the managed publication once acknowledged. It cannot recall copies someone has already downloaded.

Know where the reasoning happens.

Local processing and cloud services have different boundaries. A configured cloud provider receives the material sent to it; its processing and retention terms apply. Review the selected material and destination before using a cloud service.

An AI interpretation is not an independently verified fact. Keep the source, your corrections and any uncertainty attached to the account.

This website does not request access to your projects or import your portfolio. Interface previews are not connected accounts. Fonts and botanical images are served with the site.

The hosting service handles normal web requests, including the network information needed to serve them. This page explains product boundaries; service-specific retention, support and account terms must accompany the configured hosted release.
